An Advocacy and Educational Site for Asians and Asian Americans
Welcome! If you’ve stumbled across this site, you are probably interested in learning more about Mental Health and Wellness as it pertains to the Asian and Asian American community. I developed this site to provide information about the importance of recognizing and getting help for emotional and mental problems such as stress, sadness, or excessive worry. If left untreated, these symptoms can lead to serious impairments in education, work, and relationships. My focus is on the prevention of mental illness by addressing symptoms early, as well as on hope, healing, and recovery. I hope that through increasing awareness about mental health via this website, I can play a small part in helping our community to overcome the stigma of mental illness and the barriers to getting treatment. Let us join together on the road to recovery and wellness! I hope the site is helpful to you. - Felicia Wong, MD.
